It will be much easier if you can achieve this task by using the normal copy & paste commands. Following are the three tools using which one can seamlessly copy & paste data across multiple computers.

Another service that allows copy and pasting between computers is ipastings.com. It shows by default all the content sent from the same IP-address, which is useful if you have two computers sitting next to each other(on the same network), and no other handy way of copy and pasting between them.

I believe there is another service called foldershare where you share a folder with another computer. This way you just paste what you want on the other computer in the folder and they can get it out of it. I’ve used it before and it is pretty helpful.

Nice tools and especially which offer to save the data online and to download it to another computer. I have to use rapidshare for the same and I think it is much better to do it on this tool. I'll be giving it a try.

Despite the growth and obvious importance of the Internet and distributed computing systems, it is the mainframe computer that has provided the greatest economic benefit. Mainframes are able to store and process vast amounts of data extremely quickly, which is why every bank, insurance company and airline depends on their mainframe. Yes, even today!

Shon, the blurb on Synergy says it’s multi-platform, with some reservations. Is the copy and paste facility not available to non-Windows machines?
