s been dominating the internet from a long time, most of us will first think of targeting it to get some good traffic but, everyone doesn’t succeed to get the number one position out there. But I know people who have reached there and I have asked them few simple questions and now after having the answers, I am discussing them with you.
These kinds of simple tricks can help your website to reach no.1 position but, all this won’t happen if you don’t have quality content.I have also written few other posts on how to increase traffic.
Write Posts on what you love and not what the world is talking about. Write posts which can express your thoughts and they should not be more than 40-50 lines, as the readers will start getting bored if it becomes lengthy. This will help you to bring some really good traffic, believe me, I have experienced it.

Great tips, and they really work, I do this on my blog all the time and those posts bring in tons of SE traffic, many times people just add titles without thinking about KW optimization and this should be standard practice.

Hi Monik, really nice collection of tips. Then i don’t know how you missed one great tip about Backlinks.
I made a site to achieve in #1 Place on Google for a Keyword just by linking it on few sites with the Keyword as the Link word.
Prasanna it great tips but I think forget one simple things, just like what Priyan said; you forget to mention about backlinks. It sound simple, but it’s hard to find a good and related backlink. Once we can find related backlink, usually this can help us much.
Don’t forget writing your posts for the humans too not just the search engines. Your readers are the one who decide if they should come for a second visit so make sure you think of them too. Stuff like font size, your writing style, graphics are just a few things to focus on too.

Are you suggesting, say for example, a post on Digg or Propeller pointing to a project, such as a home improvement video on a site like MetaCafe, and a link from MetaCafe back to your Blog? The RSS feed from the MetaCafe site could be submitted to directories for even more traffic.

When add an image be sure to close the tag />, to make sure your page valid. And add height & width of the image, I think is good too
Those are some good tips coming from a 13-year old. Some people usually forgot to follow some of those though..

While these tips are quite common, it’s still good for him to post as there are many people who don’t really know much about SEO (its quite surprising actually that many don’t even know the very basic seo tricks).
This is pretty basic stuff but it’s surprising how many sites i visit that don’t make full use of all of these things.
I will say though that unless you have chosen a really niche market for your website with very little competition then this alone will not get you to position 1 in google.
