In the recent times, with extensive use of EntreCard’s (EC’s) for promoting or advertising blogs, the EC credit trading has also become one of the main source of income for the people in the blogosphere. Though it is only possible to buy credits from the official Entrecard site, people are using other alternatives to make money by selling the EC credits. The cost of 1000 credits is about 9$ in the main Entrecard site, but, the same can be bought from other sources at a much discounted price of around 2 to 3$.
Following are the four places where you can trade (buy/sell) the Entrecard credits.
1) Entrecard Forum
Entrecard forum is one of the best place to find buyers for your Entrecard Credits. All requests (buy/sell) for EC credits can be found in the Marketing section of the forum.
2) ebay
ebay seems to have become a standard place for shopping Entrecard credits. Here, just like all other listed items, people will be able to bid on the credits. Bidder with the highest bid value walks away with the credits. You can see all the EC credits listed for sale in the ebay’s Internet Promotion category.
3) Entrecash
Entrecash is a separate application developed specifically for trading Entrecard credits. Before starting your EC trading, you need to register an account by linking it with your Entrecard account.
4) Direct
You can also trade your credits directly by finding buyers either through a Google search or from your previous transactions. This can save you a lot of time if you are a frequent EC trader.

Hello over there.. I have some questions. Normally if for transaction of ec credits through other means, is there a guarantee that you will receive your money after trading? Have you traded before? If yes can you share your experience with me?
@CGFB, Most of the times that wont be a problem as you will be transferring the credits only after receiving the money. ebay is the safest place to trade EC credits. I have been using ebay for all my EC trading.
I have not tried entrecard yet. Does it really bring in quality traffic or just click traffic?

@Ajith, Entrecard is definitely worth for a try. We can get both types of traffic. I concentrate more on getting some quality traffic. I achieve this by dropping my card on some quality blogs. I suggest you to give a try for few days, then you will come to know about the pros & cons of using Entrecard.

@Nihar, If you have 5k+ EC Credits I suggest you to use ebay for selling. For anything less than that, you can try to find some buyers in the Entrecard forum itself. You can get back to me if you need any further help.

good advice. it’s interesting to see how alternate marketplaces have cropped up for the selling of entrecard credits. will have to consider these, in case i end up with credits to spare.
Entrecard was really useful for my web traffic. Now, I have got another way for using my account in the domain to my advantage.
The Entrecard phenomenom is growing quite quickly. I have been seeing EC points being released to winners of contests on numerous types of sites.
Is this a very common thing? How efficient is it? Didn’t see this before so I’m not really sure about all these things..
@Roger, Now you can’t legally buy/sell Entrecard credits from other Entrecarders. It violates their terms & conditions. But, If you effectively make use of Entrecard, it will surely help you to boost your blog.

Looks like the entrecash site is not valid anymore.
I have like over 2400 EC and would like to sell it…but thanks to your blog, trading ec is no longer allowed. I hope they will bring it back…so that Entrecard can become more attractive to more people…but anyways, Entrecard is very nice to netword work with other bloggers.
