Now a day’s lots of people are trying to earn their bred & butter by coming up with new web 2.0 applications
intended for promoting blogs. Recently I came across one such application called rssHugger. RssHugger is trying to bring the blogger’s & readers together by helping the blogger’s to promote their blogs & the visitors to discover new blogs which speaks about topics of their interest. They say themselves as the ‘first ever quality, spam free & viral RSS directory strictly for bloggers’. But, i am not sure whether it is really first in its kind.
Every blogger who registers with rssHugger gets his own RSS page for his blog on rssHugger. But to register your blog with rssHugger, either you have to write a short review about their service or you have to pay a fee of $20 per year. Your RSS page on the rssHugger displays the RSS feeds for your site. So, If the visitors find your site interesting they may think of subscribing to your feeds. If you have a startup blog & if you are working hard to increase the readership for that blog, you can definitely give a try for rssHugger.
